This illustration project looks behind the scenes of daily life. It is composed of stories expressed in various forms of screen pre-production to also look behind the creative process. The Storyboards feature characters disillusioned by their work, social and domestic routines. The artworks offer a glimpse of freedom within otherwise mundane or challenging scenarios. The ideas for the artworks come from dream recordings. My original scripts are treated typographically so that readers can see which snippets of imagery have been pulled out and recontextualised to make the Surrealist-inspired imagery accessible to audiences who relate to the character profiles. Ultimately the project aims to share my approach to visual storytelling, and to in offer a glimpse of discovery within familiar every day scenarios
