One of the main issues facing today’s younger generations is their constant need for online interaction. With technology and social media so easy to access and constantly advancing, potentially damaging consequences maybe occurring. This project explores the mental health issues rooted in instant internet access and social media and how it may have a damaging effect on young generations. The project will explore in detail, topics such as body dysmorphia, instant gratification, binge drinking, shopping addiction and fomo (fear of missing out). These over-the-counter pharmaceuticals have a minimalist design with a bold pattern. Inspiration was taken from products like 'tbh. skincare', 'Thiomucase Anti Ageing' and 'Reset Bioscience CBD'. The minimalist yet eye-catching design enables the product to stand out on a shelf without losing all the necessary information required for both the pharmaceutical packaging and the patient information leaflet. The typography needed to be carefully handled so that information is clearly presented and to make it easily understandable for patients.
