Charles Jeffrey X The British Library Live Brief

A live brief with Charles Jeffrey X The British library to design a 8-10 garment capsule collection using referencing and research taken from the British library. I investigated the mend and repair strategy as an approach to mend the damage the fashion industry had done to the environment. Taking silhouette reference from cubism and research into sustainable fashion from the British library. Through up-cycling textile waste taken from a clothing recycling warehouse ,then draping and hand stitching this unwanted clothing to construct new garments from what was once waste.
