My workshop is specifically going to be about making protest posters, i will be paticipating in the mentoring too, expect some lovely beautiful print making featuring the wonderful typographic block printing created by @will.mower and some lino cut influenced by the iconographic symbol shapes of Rajie Cook (a Palestinian artist) hosted at the @vamuseum Target audience is under 26 year olds x ( free amazing pizza included if you need motivation ) All the workshops talks and entire event is free Saturday, 6 July 2024. 10.30 – 16.30 V&A South Kensington Cromwell Road London, SW7 2RL Workshop: Print for Social Change, with Raafaye Ali Art Studio, Learning Centre, Level 0. From 11:00–16:30, Drop-in workshop, Make your own poster to take home, using typographic stamps, Lino-cut stencils and Letraset typography. Using common shapes and symbols combined with type to build your own design for social change and a better future. You don’t have to be confident in drawing to design something unique and meaningful.
