CRYSTAL CLEAN

The focus of Crystal Clean, is to explore the idea that seemingly absolute perfection is a prison and entrapment we unknowingly encase ourselves in. Crystal Clean takes inspiration from 1960s instructional videos and commercials of how to be a well groomed woman. This has been filmed on a mixture of Super8 and digital to create a lo-fi homemade video feeling to add to the indulgence of the Crystal covered womans world, capturing the seemingly mundane moments of her isolated life.
