Cubitts × Philip Normal Pride Collaboration

We opened our very first store in Soho back in 2014. Since then, every June, we have enjoyed the Pride month celebrations with our customers and neighbours.⁠ This year, of course, we couldn't. But just because we spent June in isolation doesn't mean we can't celebrate Pride this year, which is why we decided to launch a one-off Pride frame this July.

Designed by Philip Normal, the UK's first openly HIV+ mayor and owner of his eponymous Brixton store, and handmade in Cubitts' King's Cross workshop, the frame will be sold via silent auction to raise money for the Albert Kennedy Trust.

The frame's design is inspired by AKT's vital work supporting LGBTQ+ youth facing or experiencing homelessness, incorporating the inclusive Pride flag colours.⁠

To own this unique, handmade frame, send your bid to cubitts@playpr.com. The winner will be announced on August 1st, 2020.

All proceeds from the auction will go to the Albert Kennedy Trust.
