Design Infused By Place is a new interview series with creatives across the globe. It explores how where you live, or what surrounds you inspires and infuses your creative practice. The series launches today with Playtype, Copenhagen and London based graphic designer, Nadina Ali.

Playtype is an independent Copenhagen-based type foundry established in 2010 by type designer and wine-connoisseur, Jonas Hecksher. They design and produce retail typefaces, as well as bespoke typefaces for a wide range of domestic and international clients.

Nadina Ali is a self taught graphic designer from Marseille, France. Currently based in London, UK, her work comprises uplifting colourful graphics with a focus on bold typography. She’s passionate about social justice, representation and sustainability and uses her work as a medium to address these topics.
