DIRECTING TV SHOWS
TV has been a large part of my career and here are some of the TV contents and TV shows that I have directed.
Routes
“Routes” was created as an original short content format. It would be later on adopted by the client to create the series ROUTES around Latin America. Six short content pieces centred on ComicCon in San Diego, day of the death in San Miguel de Allende and before of the Football world cup in Mexico City.
E! Special: Czech Republic
A 30-minute fashion-travel show developed for E! Entertainment Television Latin America, hosted by Patricia Zavala. Patricia and the Czech Republic were the perfect inspiration: both are stylish and beautiful to photograph. Despite the extreme care and detail put on every single camera angle, the 10-strong team worked hard to complete the shooting schedule in only 3 days.
Film Festival Guadalajara FICG
A full week spent in beautiful Guadalajara interviewing directors, producers and artists who have worked in the Latin American film industry. We planned each interview in the same visual and narrative style as the movie they were involved in. You would be surprised how wonderful is the FICG film festival!
Travel & Living Channel Mezcal
Original short format content created for Travel & Living Channel from idea to post-production. Four videos about unique things to experience in Mexico City. The spot shown is about mezcal, an artisan beverage made from agave.
La Pastelería de Paulina & Hogar Dulce Hogar
Two seasons (12 episodes each) of a cooking Show with Paulina Abascal on El Gourmet TV for Latin America. I was the main director of the show.

E! Latin News
E! Latin News is a weekly entertainment newscast for Latin America. The Host is John Paul Ospina and it is broadcast on E! Entertainment Television. I was responsible for directing the set and also was head of editing of the show.
Emprendedores
Emprendedores is a 13 episodes program where entrepreneurs share their stories and explain their businesses, projects or foundations that they would like to expand. Three consultants help them with ideas, experience and knowledge in the business areas they want to explore. It was broadcast on Once TV, a cultural channel in Mexico. I worked as Director and Content Director, as well as the head of editing for the show. The reel is 5 minutes long.
Mexico's Next Top Model (Season one)
This reality show is part of the Tyra Banks franchise for Latin America, where Mexican woman compete to become a top model. It is broadcast on Sony Entertainment Television. I worked as Junior Director of the show’s first season, and was in charge for directing the cast and camera crew on Multicam segments for the show (photo-shoots and modelling lessons), and also monitored the interviews and the ongoing reality story inside the house.
Ya es 1/2 día en China (Second season)
A Late Night Show for the Latin America audience, hosted by Luis Chataing and Arturo Hernández. Broadcast on Sony Entertainment Television. I worked as Junior Director for the second season and I was responsible for directing actors, camera and production crew for some of the humour sketches inside the show. The reel is 7 minutes long with 5 complete sketches.
