A 6000-word essay which explored “In-store Vs online: can technology assist in reviving the beauty counter for generation Z in a post lockdown world whilst developing the need for racial inclusivity?” This made me explore technology and its use in the beauty industry. I applied this theory to brick-and-mortar retail. I also pushed myself to ensure I considered current affairs and humanitarian crisis’ in all work. I believe it is necessary to be aware and accountable especially in such an influential industry.
