My latest film is about England's worst football team: Losing is never fun. Non-league club Dover Athletic went 364 days without tasting victory. Pushed to the limit by Covid and a league-imposed points deduction, Dover & Out follows multiple figures in the club trying to make the most out of a doomed season. Never before has the magnitude of the financial chasm between clubs at the bottom of the football pyramid and the giants of the Premier League been more apparent.
