Throughout 2020 I worked as freelance External Relations consultant for the British Dyslexia Association to manage all of their marketing, communications, social media, and most importantly their flagship campaign for Dyslexia Week 2020. Working with internal stakeholders, corporate partners and celebrity ambassadors I developed and managed a campaign around the theme of Dyslexia Creates, exploring the impact that dyslexia can create in someone's life. The campaign secured media coverage on BBC Breakfast News, Sky News and print publications like The Mirror. It also secured an overwhelming amount of support for their policy initiative to increase diagnosis and support for dyslexic children in school.
