FACTION - This Is Home

During 2017, Faction Skis spent several months visiting the hometowns of some of the world's most prominent skiers. They amassed huge amounts of footage, which was destined to become their first feature length film. MASTER was tasked with helping the Faction team take the film from raw footage concept through to launch. We helped with project planning, narrative development and production as well as designing the film identity, digital campaign strategy, and rollout plan for their 38 city global tour.

Film Identity
Master handled the art direction and design for the film identity which included the logo (static and animated), lower thirds/credits and accompanying usage guidelines for both.
Campaign and Guidelines
To help launch the film and tour to a global audience, Faction enlisted brand partners and local ski clubs all over the world. This generated the need for assets to occasionally be created at a local level. To ensure the look and feel remained consistent globally, we created asset templates and guidelines which helped keep all assets in check.
Responsive Website
With pre-launch teaser and active editorial partnerships in place, we needed to ensure the film had an online home to which we could drive users looking for more. For this, we created a responsive microsite which hosted the trailer, cast, and the tour dates.
Film Merch
Faction took This is Home on a worldwide tour, premiering the film to a sold-out audience at the Rex (Paris) as well as the Prince Edward Cinema (London). Master designed a host of limited edition merchandise for sale at all brand-run tour stops.
