Print | Packaging Each year, Gleneagles celebrates Christmas with a unique identity and festive programme. With a focus on the ‘Great Outdoors’, the 2018 identity was inspired by the spirit of the Arts and Crafts movement, utilising artisinal print methods and using quality paper stocks across all collateral. Promoting a more contemporary look and feel we established a subtle colour palette which was complimented with elegant finishes, such as blind embossing and subtle foiling. Influenced by the work of William Morris and his organic prints, we worked with illustrator Louise Mulcahy, to create a unique pattern that depicted the local foliage and wildlife as well as festive motifs found within the hotel. This was used as the basis of the identity, which was rolled out across all festive collateral; including a festive programme, packaging, tree decorations and direction for the floral design, which centred on the Christmas tree and throughout the hotel corridors and rooms.
