This book recounts a futuristic part-fiction, part-fact story of the human migration from Earth to Mars between 1925 and 2105. The project uses materials which reflects the sci-fi environment context: hand-crafted metal boxes which act to protect the 'time-capsule' book; coated paper which mimics the quality of plastic paper used in space documents. The five steps each have a different image and typographic treatment to help reflect upon the 'era' and the notions of gravity and distance: images moving from black and white, to desaturated and grainy, to fully saturated, to red-martian tainted; as the story moves further away from Earth, the leading opens up.
