How dare you

  • Diana Morales Arias

How dare you is a project against body shaming, which uses images and stories to normalize different types of bodies and perspectives around this topic. Body shaming is a problem so internalized in our society that sometimes we do not even notice how bad it could damage someone, and when your relationship with your body is changed, as it does in the teenage years, you feel lost, and the only guidance available is social media with its idealistic bodies, and fake realities.

TEENS VERSION
This is a dictionary of bodies which tries to expose the thinking process and the reality behind those bodies, so a teenager can feel related to some ways of thinking as well as feel connexion with the images that are there and their bodies.
PARENTS VERSION
This is an A-Z book of body shaming, but even though it shows the definition of the words that cover this topic, the idea is to representant them with a story behind it. This book is written from a personal perspective, showing real-life problems that I, as the author, lived when I was a teenager.
