ISTD Pass : Maclean, MacVeagh, McVeigh

I am proud to say I became a member of ISTD in 2020 after my project was awarded Pass. This book is essentially a personal investigation into my family and distant ancestors. With a rough knowledge of my surnames’ origin in Scotland as a clan, a combination of online archives and my nan’s incredible memory helped me to disover the McVeigh timeline. The book spans over 8 centuries starting in the West of Scotland and showcasing the journeys to rural Ireland and New York City in the early 20th Century. It contains factual information, narrative from my nan and old photographs and archives.
