A French footwear brand much coveted by pratical parents, Kickers has, in the past 40 years, also been adopted by a wealth of subcultures in the UK.
I was appraoched by the brand to create a series of films that told its story.
Titled Footprints: A Walk Through Five Decades of UK Style and Subculture, the series focuses on the birth of the casual scene, UK garage, rave and Madchester; each film revolving around a first person interview with key personalities from each of the scenes.
