Inspired by the Happenings of Allan Kaprow.
'Balloons' was a 3m x 3m structure that stood within the centre of the room. It was filled with suspended balloons that fell at eye height, for the audience to walk through. They were encouraged to interact with the installation by the path of wooden hoops that lead the way on the floor below.
'Stiching' asked the audience to take a needle and thread and create their own embroidery amongst the warm light of the fine rooms at the Royal Academy. What resulted was the beautiful web of abandoned ideas as shown at the bottom of this page.
