'Melting Man on a Roman Numeral Clock'

This sculpture symbolises time, and the ways in which things and beings become unimportant and forgotten. Like candles burn out, and Roman numerals become unused, humans eventually 'melt' and loose value. The uncertainty of becoming forgotten becomes fear, and so this piece emphasises the inevitable moment where we will soon perish in a state of destruction.
