METAMORPHOSIS

"Metamorphosis" is my personal project for my first year of master at ECA, University of Edinburgh. On the theme of the environmental issue, I created ten characters, telling the condition of women in our contemporary society -still seen as objects and linked to old stereotypes - with designs based on recycling and giving new life to trash. I realized two of the ten costumes, using just recycled materials and second-hand fabrics. The costumes took part in the annual costume show of the college.
