‘Modernity has failed us’

‘Modernity has failed us’ is a season-less, genderless warning collection of clothing to come, as a result of climate change. In defiance of scientific evidence that supports the view that mankind’s reckless behaviour has single handedly caused this change, the threat is never taken seriously. Only once thousands are killed by extreme heat waves and toxic air starts to choke us in our cities is our behaviour questioned. The survival of our species has never been so under threat. My digital work hopes to challenge the way clothing is viewed and how that relationship WILL impact our future world and life living on Earth.
