With more black men and women breaking into the TV & Advertising industry, there were still many issues that need to be addressed. One of which was the labels that black men and women can unintentionally get given for one reason or another. Many of which could come down to stereotypes. The campaign 'More Than Meets the Eye' that me and Dajay Wanogho-Maud built was to shine a spotlight on the black men and women that are not in front of the camera, to stand boldly with their so called 'label', and remind the industry that they are more than that. We even managed to get Loose Women's Charlene White to be involved in the campaign too! I hope that this thought-provoking message can create better changes to help black men and women feel truly comfortable to be their true selves at work.
