Belote is a 32-card, trick-taking game. It is the most popular card game in Bulgaria. It received this name from its terminology: belote is used to designate a pair of a King and a Queen. Motif - The Belote Deck is a set of playing cards inspired by childhood memories and family stories. Their aspiration is to document the culture of the game Belote by saving the tradition of playing. The design of the cards and the box is inspired by popular Bulgarian embroideries and motifs. This is where the deck gets its name from - Motif is imprinted in Bulgarian on the box. On the right corner of each card is presented its power for both variations of the game - AT (all trumps) and NT (no trumps). They are meant to help new players learn the rules and start playing without needing a cheat sheet, simply by placing the most important details from the rules on the cards themselves.
