Exploring motion through experimentation and invention.
Initial inspiration was taken from the Leonardo da Vinci Mechanics of Genius exhibition; a prominent theme throughout was the use of motion through his inventions. I undertook a series of scientific experiments to demonstrate motion within natural landmarks.
This project was material driven; exploiting the effects of laser work, sonic welding, embellishing and traditional textile print techniques.
