Lindblad is a heritage adventure organisation with a fleet of vessels that can reach anywhere in the world. Meanwhile National Geographic has a small army of scientists, filmmakers, and conservationists who need to reach the world’s most remote destinations to carry out their work. It’s a perfect partnership. In 2021 the two institutions relaunched their collaboration, to offer a travel business where a limited number of guests can join Nat Geo crews – aboard Lindblad’s 20+ vessels – while they carried out vital scientific and documentary work on journeys everywhere from the Arctic to the Amazon. I was brought in by creative agency Matter of Form to lead on the complete revamp of their content strategy and execution; heading-up the client's incredible film and editorial team to create over 20 documentary-style hero films, a brand film, dozens of articles… as well as concepting future content streams including podcasts, live streams, and beyond.
