National Grid - Microsites

National Grid do a lot of amazing things, many of which go under the radar. One story they were keen to tell was around their use of interconnectors as a means of making energy more secure, affordable and sustainable for consumers across Great Britain and Europe.

SOLUTION

The task was simple – to create both a microsite and data visualisation tool that would bring the story of interconnectors to life. The sites needed to be multipurpose – being engaging enough to attract a new audience who may want to find out more, as well as delivering more complex information to stakeholders who may already have a knowledge around the role of interconnectors.

RESULT

The initial site launched in September 2019 and can be seen here: https://www.nationalgridcleanenergy.com/
