The experimental film “Only Temporary” directed by Joanna Amara Alexander and edited by Mary Corsham is a collaborative poetic film, that has been assembled to connect moving image and poetry with ambient sound to form an associational structured film. “Only Temporary” attempts to convey the transition of the astrological age of Pisces to the age of Aquarius. It examines the age of Pisces, as the age of deception and illusion that has been established and nurtured; with humanity being preoccupied with the unnatural, oppressive and hierarchical systems of control and regulation, which rely on deception to be validated and considered acceptable.
