In this era of social networks and smartphones is easy to think about a device or an app for smartphone that helps the customer in the shopping experience, reducing times and facilitating the achievement of products.
PLATY is a new shopping trolley that wants to satisfy this new necessity but innovating the shapes of a traditional shopping trolley. PLATY is meant to be inserted in luxory shopping centers, it is inspired to 50s and 60s forniture, especially to the wire products, for example the Platner series, produced by Knoll, designed by Warren Platner (that inspired the name as well).
Moreover, some comforts render the shopping experience a more enjoyable one for the user. For example:
- faciliting the use of the smartphone/tablet thanks to a special space close to the handle;
- optimize the positioning of goods inside the trolley thanks to the presence of the shelves below the main basket. These allow support for any protruding objects, bottles, bag and more.
