For this project I was asked to create a logo and identity for a clinic for the LGBT community that have been affected in New York, and the overall feeling in the US - first since the events that unfolded in Orlando, as well as the election of Donald Trump.
the thought behind the design was to keep it simple - combining the American flag together with the LGBT rainbow communicates the idea that despite the dark time we are in, the majority of American’s still have love for each other and that the United States is a place where everybody should feel welcome no matter their sexuality, colour or gender. It represents the United States staying United and staying strong and positive - challenging the negativity.
