Punctuate Your Problems

Opposites Attract Brief: Create something ‘beautiful’ from two distinctly different things.

Some people can find communicating their thoughts and feelings with others very difficult. One way people know how to communicate without even thinking is through the use of punctuation and glyphs.

‘Punctuate Your Problems’ is an editorial piece which combines both feelings of positivity and negativity in mental health and displays them in a visual and conceptual way. It’s designed to help reassure people that it’s normal to experience highs and lows in emotion, yet it motivates them to look on the brighter side of life and spread positivity.

With mental health being a topical subject area today, I felt it was important to talk about these opposite and contrasting feelings and educate and communicate the normality of them, creating something beautiful as the finished product.
