Reflexió is an experimental typography project that combines a mirror’s reflection with craft paper letters cut along one of their axes. The result are modular compositions that, once photographed, appear as 3D images. The project plays with this magic and visual contradiction to establish a connection between digital language and the analog world. By constructing letters on a mirror, new realities were created with the reflection, which are neither real nor false. With clearly playful intentions, this project is a typographic exploration to return to paper what paper has given to the pixel. In other words, to simulate the pixel using paper when what we are used to is exactly the opposite.
