Rejuvenation

  • Eloise Harvey
My final major project at University , ‘Rejuvenation,’ is based on Art Nouveau design, this project takes inspiration from plants and animals to create bold, natural organic shapes. Imagery was taken from places such as, the living rainforest, Japanese gardens and Kew gardens, which aided drawing and design development throughout. While exploring traditional Art Nouveau characteristics of design, contemporary embroidery techniques, bold colours and interesting fabrics rejuvenate the style to give it a unique twist for a high end womenswear A/W fabric fashion collection. CAD embroidery, hand embroidery, fabric manipulation, applique, digital and heat press print were used to create this collection and compliment eachother to create exciting dimensions to explore for fashion
