Smile through darkness

No matter the trials, and tribulations we face, Take a deep breath, and remember your place, No matter what comes, along into your path, One day you’ll look back, and most probably laugh, What seems so surreal, is all part of your story, As one human being, I believe it’s mandatory, A million to one, were the odds on us making, This journey called life, in which we are partaking, For the darkness we face, try to take in your stride, Buckle up for now, it’s all part of the ride, One day all the darkness, things will become clear, And when the light shines, you’ll lose all that fear, There’s a balance in life, it’s a natural law, Although I know at times, it can all feel so raw, Smile through the darkness, & dance through the rain, Because good times are coming, for you once again. — Alan Firmin
