Conceptualised, designed and opened a learning studio and social space for 13-18 year olds in contemporary art gallery, the Tetley, named space3. The studio features workspace, desktops, a library and a projector, and is open to community groups and young people in the surrounding area. The idea behind space3 was to think about creating a third space for teenagers, who are often excluded from targeted activities and programming in art galleries and other cultural spaces, whilst emphasising a need to lower barriers to access to resources and digital artistic practices. We wanted the space to facilitate independent learning, group learning and classes - allowing for a range of activity to take place there.
