As a newly formed national institute for data science, The Alan Turing Institute, headquartered in the British Library, London, is the first of its kind in the world. I was commissioned to take photographs that captured this unique mood and atmosphere, to be used as part of a new design that translates this unusual blend of rigidity and flexibility in thinking; helping to define the Institute’s brand and create its pioneering identity.
