The Spectacle a bi-yearly publication by London-based spectacle maker Cubitts. This issue revolved around Perspective and includes interviews with David Shrigley, Anais Van Manen, a photoessay by Polly Hanrahan, and a handdrawn map of London’s lost rivers by The Shoreditch Sketcher. The design of the newspaper had to be rethought after the brand went through a rebranding, which included a new typeface, brand colours, and a bolder aesthetic. This was clearly reflected in the title pages which combined big, bold type along with Joy Yamusangie’s illustrations, on colourful backgrounds.
