Brief: To engage in a subject of my choosing. Approach: There is a massive amount of inequality between men and women in the comedy circuit. In 2018 the Edinburgh Fringe Festival had over 30 comedy shows and only 3 of them featured women. ‘Thigh Claps’ as a brand, event and campaign uses honesty to ‘present the new wave of female comedians’, in order to create more equality within the comedy circuit, so that they can have the same opportunities as men. By creating designs that are both informative and humorous it allows the audience to understand the purpose of this event. The use of multiple gradients shows a range of flexibility within this brand as this key asset can be used in multiple ways.
