I worked with COPA90 on brand and packaging design for Chelsea FC’s new collaboration with Nicholas Daley. Released during Black History Month, the 'Tied Together' collection celebrates West London’s ties to the Caribbean and commemorates Chelsea’s first black player, Paul Canoville, who pioneered a new era at the club amid a backdrop of racist abuse. All proceeds are donated to the Paul Canoville Foundation. The collection features a special edition tracksuit top and scarf referencing Chelsea's home shirts from the 1980s Canonville era, replete with the Nicholas Daley tartan. These design details were reappropriated in the packaging, including a luxury box with embossed logo and lined with the fashion designer's trademark pattern.
