Turning the Tide

A behavioural change project delivered for Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council to reduce single-use plastic and create a low-impact resort. I lead the marketing for this campaign from customer segmentation, consumer research, brand development and marcomms execution. To launch the project we delivered a huge graffiti project across an old disused building on the seafront to communicate the main campaign message, driving awareness for the project and driving behaviour change from single-use to refill and reusing. In the first month of the creative signage and water fountains being installed we had reduced single-use plastic bottle wastage by 45,000 units.
