The light installation unity/4 is the interconnection of the geometry of five objects which only show their full power when 4 people interact with them at the same time. The main goal of this installation is to gather 4 people so that they can experience the full potential of their unity in an interactive play.
The chosen geometry of objects is not accidental, it was used by Genghis Khan who was a 13th-century warrior in central Asia who founded the Mongol Empire, one of the largest empires in history as the most perfect form of the group. He put himself in the center, and his advisers at the edges. This is how an indestructible configuration of consciousness was obtained.
The main object for human interaction is a light ball placed in the center, which shines thanks to the LED strip. Around it there are 4 round platforms. In addition to the ball, there is a LED Matrix panel placed on the wall which visualises the unity’s interaction.
The first stage is the start stage with no interaction at all. The ball and the panel are off.
The second stage begins as soon as one person steps on the platform. The ball lights up a quarter and a slight splash of white appears on the panel. The more people stand on the platforms near the ball, the more it and the panel are lightened.
The third stage happens as soon as all 4 people step on the platforms; everything - the ball and the panel - become white.
