About me
A proactive, enthusiastic and passionate learning creative who adores the creative process and the endless possibilities that come with it. In my spare time I enjoy socialising with friends and family as well as keeping active from walks with my dog in the Peak District and lifting some heavy weights at the CrossFit gym I regularly attend.

  • Beyond A–Z
Beyond A–ZA self-initiated brief in order to gain more understanding around typography. I wanted to look beyond the visible letters in a typeface and therefore decided to base my project around punctuation marks. I experimented with altering punctuation marks to suit the text they are within. Focusing on speeches of Winston Churchill, I used the punctuation marks to metaphorically tell a story of the war; by migrating them from their text to show movement across Europe before the war, by physically cutti
  • Shreem Re-brand
Shreem Re-brandShreem is an online platform aimed at championing the next generation of fresh, diverse and innovative talent. They encourage diversity, success and growth. They wanted an entirely fresh rebrand including a logo, typography, colour palette and a unifying narrative aimed at 18–28 year olds who are early career freelancers. The Logo: A logo that physically grows in appearance to bring a feeling of diversity, success and growth and an added element of progression. If the Shreem platform is going t
  • An Investigation of Conversation
An Investigation of ConversationA self-initiated brief in order to explore conversation. I began experimenting by disrupting a typical face to face conversation, by having two people sit back to back, around corner and on opposite sides of the room whilst they spoke. With this being something I hadn’t seen done before, it prompted me to see how this could be visualised, where the format of typography felt appropriate to start with. From the conversation experiments, I began to focus on the subject of taboo and things that peo
  • Of Polarisation
Of PolarisationStarting with the word polarisation from Richard Serra’s verb list, I began to think of inventive ways to create a format and grid influenced from the definitions of this word. I was interested in the idea of a polarised Britain after Brexit as a political definition and the opposite of this being the scientific definition of the polarisation of light. This created lots of visual ideas of opposites, size, division, folds, repairing and more.
  • Longley Park Sixth Form Re-brand
Longley Park Sixth Form Re-brandLongley Park are a Sheffield sixth form who are passionate about helping each student to focus on and achieve their individual goals. They wanted a refreshed new brand identity that included a logo, colours, fonts and imagery. Brands the sixth form liked were visually articulated clearly and simply. They liked the idea of a mark that has flexibility across platforms, has the possibility to be used without text and to be used as a stacked logo. Starting with an emphasis on focus, my ideas stemme
  • AIGA Designer 2025 Publication Design
AIGA Designer 2025 Publication DesignPublication design with the content based on AIGA Designer asking what a graphic designer and their job will look like in 2025. I was able to build upon my typography skills from focusing on typesetting and creating legibility of a large body of text which included headings, subheadings, paragraphs and lists. I reconstructed these to create a style that shows how design is continuously changing and never stands still. I learnt how to justify type, how to indicate new paragraphs to create an e

  • Typographic Billboard - Collab
Typographic Billboard - CollabA short and sweet typographic brief lead by Pam Bowman, where Sheffield Hallam's Graphic Design students worked together in collaboration with the students Minneapolis College of Art & Design lead by Professor Erik Brandt.
