ABC Blocks

Campaign Breakdown: Billboards: A selection of prints that show ABC Blocks arranged to make rhyming words that hint at the words, that parents really don’t want their children to learn. Tv advert: The advert explores a situation in which a parent experiences a near miss, when it comes to her daughter learning a bad word using her ABC Blocks. Socials: The Facebook Group will allow parents to share, their funny stories of their children or even their younger selves, when they unknowingly used a bad word. This page will allow parents to find humour in the situation and normalise it. All children have a slip up, all children say things they shouldn’t and yes, the use of the word should be nipped in the bud but it’s also okay to find humour in the situation and laugh it off. This also allows for another light hearted, satirical way for ABC Blocks to be advertised. Game: ABC Blocks will release a one-time app, which is a game that’s all about learning words but anytime a bad word is used, you will be made to restart all over again, this app will only have a few levels and will be fairly simple to complete, unless you keep typing in bad words. Books: Lastly, they will send out a Direct Mail which will be satirical books that teach ‘children’ to rhyme but purposefully skates over the swear words, but these books are not actually for children but for parents as in the end they are the ones who will be doing the buying.
