Adidas wanted to inspire people to think differently about running; to change the perception of running from being 'a chore’. They wanted to be the brand that improved & added a level of excitement to the running experience.
We mashed up the Spotify API with RunKeeper & Chute technology in order to create a standalone desktop, mobile & tablet optimised site.
A combination of advertising and social drove Spotify users to this Adidas branded hub where they were encouraged to enter their location and preferred running distance, as well as their favourite track to run to and the running intensity required.
They were then presented with a selection of personalised local running routes to choose from and a bespoke Spotify playlist tailored to their route, workout intenstity and music taste.
