The Colour Series was one of the first projects I completed when founding Skull & Heart. The idea behind the project was to comission, art direct, and produce an artist based screen print series, which focussed on beautiful artwork from a variation of established and upcoming artists. The most important part of the project was keeping the artwork affordable, allowing our customer the opportunity to purchase and collect artwork from all artists, regardless of popularity. The prints were produced at an edition of 50, signed and numbered, and sold at £30 each.
The artists comissioned for this project were: Dan Mumford, William Exley, Brian Ewing, David Bray, Drew Millward, Muxxi, Tom J Newell, Tim McDonagh, Mr Gauky, Palehorse, Horsebites, Iain Macarthur.
