Attic F.C. and the Home Premiership

Attic F.C. and the Home Premiership is a self initiated and ongoing project based upon my love of football and sleeping in attics throughout my life. Attic F.C. is a conceptual football club based on different rooms within buildings. This project allows me to develop my use of type, copy writing and photography. The project is on going as I create new match posters, photos and merchandise for the team. The lockdown of 2020 has added a whole new meaning to this project. With football being postponed and cancelled all over the globe, football fans have to find their weekend fix in different places. For me this comes in the form of every room in the house having their own team. Creating imaginary fixtures and results for each room in my limited environment. The Home Premiership is now made up of eight teams, with new clubs being formed every so often. Some of the later editions include Garage Grove and Apples and Pears. Each team has their own unique crest symbolising their personality and location within the home, Kitchen Albion for example have a bright red hotplate at the forefront of their badge. Each club also has their own home and away kits inspired by their rooms, sponsors and modern kit culture.
