Clouslieu

  • Riccardo Carrara
Clouslieu is a place where people of all ages go to paint, free from any kind of prejudice or rule: people just paint what they want in a cosy room with in the middle a palette with all the colours. The very first clouslieu has been created by Arno Stern in 1946 for children orphaned by war. After this many are the ateliers opened by his learners. One of them is placed in Bergamo, a small town close to Milan. This is its promotional flyer. The quote in the front says: "The act of painting can change, but only in the game is renewed".
