Digital Screens: For the TV screens at Bedford and Luton, I was asked to develop a digital screen for taking exams. For this, I created four designs, so it gave my colleague Lauren a variety to choose from. She finalised Design 4, where I created a teacher board with books in the corner, exam writing, and an A grade on it. Before writing the text on a white box with the title on the board in bold font, Lastly, finish it off with the university’s logo in the corner. Just like the TV screens for Luton and Bedford. I sent four designs, and design four was chosen. I kept the design simple by turning the background blue before adding kitchen utensils in the corner before lowering the opacity. Then I created a white border, which I placed in the middle before using the branded fonts of the university for the information to go in the box. Before adding the university logo beside the utensils I turned a poster for Volunteering Opportunity into a digital screen using the same style and designed the background to match. I then removed some of the information to add a new piece of text surrounding the topic and to go beside the QR code. Salute The Reuser had a poster developed and turned it into a digital screen using all the same elements. The only change was the spacing, so the text wasn’t squished together and looked professional. I then did the same for Units Choice. However, there was no poster. I just developed the digital screen from scratch using the branded colours of red and white, the university logo, elements of education and text, which was given to me by my colleague.
