Brief: Faulty Towers Dining is an established 20-year-old show who’s got the market sewn up. But you’ve got big competition. Solution: Where can you find plenty of Londoners? Underground of course. Half a million travel on the Bakerloo in the morning, so Mellor&Smith hit it at rush hour. Create a dinner party on the tube? Easy mate! Avoiding the police, pissing off the competition and bribing TFL staff is all part of the job. And believe it or not the commuters loved it. My role: Assistant producer and asset designer.
