In 2015, I made this artwork to convey my feelings about the UK's identity in changing times, especially in the face of university fees tripling at the time, the looming Brexit referendum and the defunding of the NHS. The piece responds to the dismantling of the identity of a country in the face of reducing access to education, to health and removing freedom of movement. It was since exhibited at the Design Museum in London as part of Hope to Nope exhibition in 2018. It was also featured in Elephant, a contemporary art magazine as well as several other printed and online publications. The artwork is available as a signed limited edition at Nelly Duff Gallery on Colombia Road: https://www.nellyduff.com/gallery/sarah-boris/fragile-uk
