It's Nice That x Arjowiggins II

  • Simon Smith
It’s Nice That partnered with the creative papers manufacturer Arjowiggins to offer two emerging talents the opportunity to work with an established graphic designer. The result was a new publication that showcases the work of the participants and the potential of new digital printing techniques.
Photographer Sophie Mayanne created Twenty-Two, a chronological narrative featuring her portraiture and journal entries. Designer Bruce Usher worked with illustrator Antti Kalevi to create a visual poem, translated using a key, for I Can Speak with Shapes.
To support the series, we created an Instagram campaign which asked our followers to submit their own work to win an opportunity to print a poster series with Arjowiggins.
The campaign received over 800 entries, with up and coming illustrator Fran Caballero taking the final prize.
